These cookies will satisfy your peanut butter and chocolate cravings all at once. They're also very moreish.
Makes 12 cookies
Ingredients
150g Vegetable Margarine
100g Peanut Butter
100g Sugar
100g Demerara Sugar
200g Plain Flour
Large pinch of Salt
1/2 bag of plain or dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to gas 6/200c
Grease a two large baking trays with marg or baking parchment.
Blend the Margarine with peanut butter, and stir in the sugars.
Mix in the flour to make a dough, stir in the chocolate chips, then shape the mixture into balls (roughly the size of a ping pong balls)
Space the balls out on baking trays and flatten each slightly so they're more like a disc.
Bake each tray for around 15 minutes until slightly brown. Don't worry if they're still a bit soft as they harden while cooling.
Leave to cool slightly before moving to a wire cooling
